Position available: Director of Children’s Ministries

About the Role:

First Methodist Church is seeking a passionate, creative, and highly motivated Full-Time Director of Children’s Ministries (DCM) to lead and nurture our ministry to children, from birth through grade five. The DCM will work closely with church leadership and volunteers to create a vibrant, safe, and engaging environment where children grow in faith and feel welcomed as part of the greater church community.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a mature, passionate disciple of Jesus Christ with a heart for ministry and a commitment to empowering others. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate programs for children.

This candidate should have a deep understanding of children's spiritual development, a knack for organizing, and the energy to build a thriving, effective team of volunteers. Above all, they should be driven by a genuine passion for connecting children to Christ and making an impact on both the children and families we serve.
